Cook Assistant - Compass Health Network : Job Details

The Cook's Assistant assists in preparation of well-seasoned, attractive, appetizing meals and serves meals to patients and employees, according to established policy and procedures.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. This candidate will need to have availability to work all days on the evening shift.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepares food and assists in maintaining the dietary department in a safe and sanitary manner• Attends in-service education classes pertinent to job responsibilities• Receives food and supplies according to established policy and procedures• Responsible for additional tasks as designated by the Director of Nutrition Services• Functions within a setting which may change frequently due to consumer and staff needs
