- Required to prepare various foods depending on menu for residents, patients and staff of Jasper General Hospital
- Required to follow standardized recipes.
- Properly operates various kitchen equipment, e.g. mixer, meat slicer, food processor, oven , steamer, gas stove.
- Cleans equipment and tables as assigned.
- Required to properly store all food items, which includes proper labeling and dating all foods prior to storage.
- Practices proper food safety measures at all times.
- Required to work at a constant pace to ensure that meals are served on time.
- Required to serve meals to residents and staff, following planned menus. Must be knowledgeable of special diets and proper portions while serving.
- Completes all cleaning duties as assigned.
- Will assist other staff in the dietary department as needed.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
