They contribute to the development and well-being of the students.General Responsibilities: \ - Know and/or learn kitchen measurement tools and how to use them, re: read and follow recipes.\ - Prepare or assist in preparing food as instructed by your Kitchen Manager, including baking, cooking, etc.\ - Assist with service of food to students and adults as assigned using portion control standards.\ - Complete clean-up duties, mopping and dishwashing duties as assigned.\ - Follow proper food handling to maintain food quality and ensure food safety.\ - Operate kitchen equipment in a proper manner to assure personal safety as well as to avoid damage to the equipment.\ - Maintain job skills to perform assigned duties and take advantage of training programs available.\ - Follow HACCP standard operating procedures.\ - Other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
