About Us Marshall Healthcare Facility is a 64 bed skilled and long term care facility located in the beautiful coastal town of Machias, Maine. Cook Job Summary Working for a Maineowned company while taking care of Maine people our Cooks work with a busyDietary Services team to prepare appetizing and healthful food based on thenutrition and health needs of our Residents. Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
  • Review menus priorto preparation of food
  • Inspect specialdiet trays to assure they are correct
  • Preparation, cooking,and service of a variety of foods
  • General cleaningup of kitchen
  • Dispose of foodand waste in accordance with established policies
  • Coordinatedietary service with other departments as necessary
  • Assist in standardizingthe methods in which work will be accomplished
  • Assure that foodand supplies for the meal are readily available
Requirements: Education: Associate's degree preferred, notrequired Experience: Two years related food service experience Leadership: Position may need leadership skills and experience, if supervisingstaff Excellent communications skills, written and verbal As amember of the First Atlantic Healthcare family you will benefit from:
