Find your purpose by preparing nourishment for patients and fueling those that care for them! The cook prepares food for hospital patients, guests, employees, and catered functions according to standardized recipes and established policies and procedures. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families, guests and with co-workers. Schedule: Casual Rotating shifts either (5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) or (10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) Hours vary depending upon department need. Pay & Benefits: Starting pay begins at $17.41 per hour and increases with experience. Pay range: $17.41 - $23.73 per hour. This is a Union position, and you will be required to join the AFSCME 3296 Union within 30 days from start. Qualifications: Prior quantity cooking and baking experience preferred, but not required.
