Cook/Pizzaiolo - The Onion Tree : Job Details

The Onion Tree located on the North Shore of Long Island is hiring Full and Part Time Bartenders to join our team and help us expand. Led by Chef Jay Jadeja and his wife, Raquel Jadeja, The Onion Tree is a food-forward restaurant serving multi-cultural cuisine with a concentration on Modern Indian cuisine. We are also known for our traditional Pizza Napoletano and (not so traditional), pizzas including Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, Palak Paneer Pizza, and Short Rib on Pizza - to name a few. We do substantial volume in spite of limited capacity and need professional individuals to help us grow bigger and better. Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes ( we make everything fresh!)
• Execute recipes and work the line
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
• Put away deliveries and keep stock areas clean and well organized

• Resume and proven working experience as a cook
• Knowledge in pizza making
• Knowledge of English and Spanish is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the back of house organized, stocked and clean
