Cooks - FT/PT - Kraft cafeteria - Creative Dining Services : Job Details

Creative Dining Services is looking for 2-3 friendly, experienced Cooks at the Kraft-Heinz Dining Center in Champaign, IL. The Cook works within the Dining Services Department to ensure that high quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided throughout the operation, in a fiscally responsible and safe manner. Works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary and helping to provide a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for workers from all over the Kraft campus. Availability: weekdays, multiple shift schedules available! First shift: 5:30am to 1:30pm (full time) Second shift: 2:00pm to 7:30pm (part time) Third shift/nights: 10:00pm to 4:00am (part time or full time) We Offer:

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal
• Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production
• Utilize safe food handling, holding and storage techniques at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment at all times
• Support other kitchen employees in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Minimum of 2 years cooking experience
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• ServSafe Certification
