Job Description
Kemps has immediate job openings for Cooler/ Warehouse Operators to perform an array of functions including setting up loads for shipping, loading and unloading trailers, pulling finished pallets stacker, inventory control, assisting warehouse personnel, and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Use trailer safety automatic wheel chocks
Take samples for Quality Control Laboratory
Using the yard truck to move trailers for loading and unloading
Accurately complete all associated records
Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
Comply with SQF and Company Guidelines to produce safe and quality product.
Perform other duties as assigned.

OUR COOLER/WAREHOUSE OPERATOR FOR THIS POSITION START AT:
SCHEDULE: Sunday - Tuesday, Friday - Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
DAYS OFF: Wednesday - Thursday

Requirements
Skills Required
Ability to communicate openly, clearly, and effectively orally and in writing
Ability to read, write, and understand English documentation.
Ability to support team environment
Ability to work independently
Physical Skills Required
Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds frequently
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for virtually entire shift
Ability to climb and maintain balance
Ability to use hands extensively
Ability to operate forklift with certification
Education Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in the dairy industry preferred
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
