Cooler Worker - Perdue Chicken : Job Details

Works in the Weigh & Price cooler pulling racks, loading baskets, staging product and feeding conveyer belt lines.

Shift Schedule:

B - Monday-Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm plus OT

Compensation Data:

This position has a target wage of $20.50- $22.95 per hour, with negotiated increases. Overtime may be available.

• Moves racks to designated area within the Weigh & Price cooler.
• Places packaged product on production line conveyor belt.
• States necessary product in preparation for production line.
• Loads baskets of product.
• Maintains work area clean and safe.
• Participates in the company and departmental safety programs.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Ability to work as a team player is essential. Attendance is an essential function of this job. Read product labels in English.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful but is not required.

• Required to work in the cooler for the duration of the shift. Works entire shift while standing.
• Ability to make repetitive motion movements using arms, hands and wrists for an entire shift.
• Ability to stand the entire shift and use the hands, wrists and arms repetitively. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• The work environment is wet, cold and noisy. The level of noise varies from moderate to extreme. Ear protection is provided.
