Job SummaryThe Training Coordinator schedules trainings, facilitates and evaluates training programs to support the implementation of electronic health records.Minimum Job Requirements Required Qualifications:Three years of experience in instruction/training, instructional design, training methodologies learning management systems and competency assessment of adult learners required; preferably in a healthcare setting. License/Registration/Certification: None. Education:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Business Administration or related field required. Skills
Knowledge of medical terminology.Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles.Knowledge of instructional design.Knowledge of training methodologies.Knowledge of learning management systems.Knowledge of competency assessment.Knowledge of Health Information Management, Billing, Patient Access, Scheduling, Registration. Knowledge of Cerner, Soarian revenue cycle applications. Knowledge of EMR/EHR Go Live . Ability to apply Skilled in the use of Business Objects and Microsoft Office tools to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.Excellent analytical abilities necessary along with good problem solving skills.Basic knowledge of clinical operations either through formal education or business experience.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent planning, organizing, and project management skills. Ability to handle a changing and fast-paced work environment.Highly effective written and oral communication skillsSelf-starter with ability to work independently with minimum supervision and use good judgment, or as a contributing member of a team.
