Who are we hiring?
The Coordinator Celebrity Relations & VIP Hospitality reports to the Manager of Celebrity Relations and works together with the team to coordinate best-in-class experiences for MSG's VIP and Celebrity guests. The Coordinator supports the department in preparing and organizing key administrative elements of event day operations for VIP & celebrity guests at events at Madison Square Garden and its properties including - NY Knicks and NY Rangers games, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Garden of Dreams events, Opening Nights and any additional company initiatives. The Coordinator is also expected to contribute to data tracking and reporting on VIP/celebrity engagements, as well as maintaining a company-held databases.
What will you do?
* Prepare and maintain day-to-day event materials while coordinating with team members to ensure seamless event operations.
* Assist the team in identifying new talent and fostering relationships with celebrities and their teams in order to grow and expand the Madison Square Garden brand.
* Responsible for tracking internal data regarding VIP/Celebrity guest lists and operational expenses.
* Tasks include but are not limited to managing department calendars, updating contact databases, maintaining weekly event schedule updates and departmental documents, tracking and maintaining supplies, merchandise & gifting.
* Other special projects as assigned.
What do you need to succeed?
* 1-2 years of administrative experience preferred
* Interest in and understanding of the sports and entertainment industry
* Meticulous attention to detail that ensures high level of accuracy and efficiency
* Strong written and verbal communication.
* Ability to execute multiple tasks in a fast paced, service environment with changing demands
* Creative problem solver

* Available to work prolonged hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

Pay Range
$45,000-$70,000 USD
