We identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and we produce, distribute, and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.The Commercial Partnerships Coordinator provides administrative support to the UMG Commercial Partnerships Team(s) in the areas of partner and label support and service. Key support roles include distribution and communication of information, and troubleshooting asset deliveries, take downs, rushes, and any and all revenue strategy changes.How You'll Create:

  • Communicate/monitor new release and catalogue marketing opportunities based on trending and upcoming releases.
  • Manage partner optimization requests and various administration tasks for all label partners at DSPs, monitor missing content and ingestion of assets, investigate and solve label/artist-related inquiries pertaining to DSPs.
  • Collect, organize, solicit missing digital release assets and marketing tools from label partners and UMG backend systems.
  • Communicate sales, streaming and revenue trends, success stories and opportunities at applicable partners to UMG and Labels, generating weekly reports based on playlist adds and current data.
  • Utilize streaming and marketing data to support placement and applicable partner opportunities.
  • Process takedowns for material infringing on UMG content.
  • Support Labels & Artists on DSP activities and business with a focus on Spotify, SoundCloud & Deezer.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Office and PowerPoint competency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including adaptability, personal effectiveness, and ability to establish quick rapport, with emphasis on relationship building with labels and partners.
  • Extremely organized with superior time management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and produce high-quality results under tight deadlines in a team environment.
  • Capacity to work independently, take initiative and desire to optimize processes and efficiencies.
  • Proactive problem solving by identifying potential issues and taking action to rectify.
  • Experience with analytics, search engine and social media marketing.
  • Propensity to build and maintain relationships with a 'partner first' mindset. Must be comfortable being the point of contact for UMG and multiple label and business partners.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and follow through.
  • Must have a general understanding of the commercial landscape and how to optimize profiles and content across multiple platforms.
Experience:
  • Knowledge of retail, social media, and current platforms of entertainment consumption from a consumer perspective.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems a must, working knowledge and understanding of UMG internal systems a plus.
  • Familiarity with and able to navigate partner dashboards and data tools, with the ability to understand user behavior through data.
  • Candidates should be natural problem solvers, analytical, creative, innovative, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
Education:
  • BA degree.
