Thank you for your interest in employment with Louisiana Tech University. Louisiana Tech University Division of University Advancement is seeking a motivated individual to serve as the Coordinator for Annual Giving. The Coordinator for Annual Giving reports to the Director/Senior Director of Alumni Engagement. This professional is responsible for the coordination of annual giving programs including direct response appeals, digital giving, giving day(s), Bullmarket crowdfunding, and faculty/staff campaign, special projects, and oversees the Lagniappe Ladies giving society. This professional collaborates with University Advancement colleagues as well as faculty, staff, administrative and student leadership on the Louisiana Tech campus to develop and implement an integrated annual giving strategy for the team to meet fundraising and engagement goals. Performance metrics will be determined annually by the Assistant Vice President for Philanthropy and Engagement pursuant to the annual fundraising and engagement goals and University's needs and priorities.Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Marketing/communication experience preferred, with added preference for related experience in fundraising/nonprofit sector.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms preferred.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to make effective presentations to large and small groups
  • Exceptional goal orientation. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and grow interpersonal relationships including with university alumni, donors and friends, administrators, faculty students and staff.
  • Gather and analyze data related to team specific activities, in collaboration with University Advancement staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use multiple cloud-based platforms simultaneously to gain information.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Louisiana Tech University's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Understanding of and commitment to ethics as described in the Association of Fundraising Professionals Code of Ethical Standards.
  • Occasional weekend or evening work may be required.
