Categories: College of MedicineJob Summary The coordinator will assist the Directors of Student Affairs with student organization oversight in the College of Medicine including event request approvals, annual registration, and training.Essential Functions
- Create and manage annual registration process to holistically educate new student leaders on university policies and expectations of their groups.
- Partner with the Student Government Association to review and approve new organization applications.
- Approve Event Request Forms for student groups.
- Advise organization leaders on responsible spending of organization funds.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for approximately 200 student groups' needs.
- Assist in community building and event execution through student organization programming.
- Support team programming and milestone events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred masters in higher education or previous experience working in higher education.
- The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills such that the individual can work collaboratively with students, University offices, departmental faculty, and staff.
- The candidate should be detail-oriented and possess excellent time management skills.
Physical Requirements
- Typically sitting at a desk/table.
- Typically standing, walking.
- Lifting demands ≤ 25lbs.
