Dispatcher Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

• Dispatching trucks with full container loads to and from facility and port terminals.

• Answer telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and directing them to relevant staff

• Check container availability on line, make delivery appointments, enter data from drivers logs into computer

• Organize maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order

• Report office progress to senior management and work with them to improve office operations and procedures

• Checking internal and terminal information for accuracy

• Verifying booking/BOL information, container availability and vessel receiving's.

• Ensuring equipment availability prior to dispatching

Dispatcher Shift Info

• Day Shift, 07:00 am to 03:30 pm

• Monday - Friday

Dispatcher Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

• Basic Excel and outlook

• Must pass drug screen including THC for this position.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

• Dispatch experience needed

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Reliability and discretion

• Office Administration experience preferred

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US
