For more information, visit www.virtuoso.com.As Copy Lead, you will develop and execute our copy strategy to ensure messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned with our brand identity. This role is responsible for crafting persuasive content that engages our target audience across various marketing platforms, with a special focus on high-quality written content for product descriptions, sales collateral, website content, social media posts, and email campaigns. Your work will effectively communicate the value and benefits of our products and services, nurturing customer relationships and driving conversions.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.   • Write compelling and engaging copy across all marketing channels, including email campaigns, website, sales enablement materials, and presentations.
  • Craft high-quality, persuasive content for product marketing materials, such as product descriptions, sales collateral, website content, and emails.
  • Develop and execute email campaigns to nurture customer relationships, drive conversions, and boost revenue.
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging across all marketing channels to reinforce brand recognition and trust, enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to gain the necessary product knowledge for each project.
  • Interpret creative briefs to deliver innovative concepts and copy across multiple marketing channels, including websites, social media, email, print, and video scripts.
  • Partner with the design team to ensure cohesive visual and written elements that enhance the brand experience.
  • Conduct research on target audience needs, market trends, and competitors to inform copy development.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal teams and leadership, ensuring alignment with brand and product goals.
  • Stay updated on best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in copywriting and marketing communications.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of internal and external copywriters, offering guidance on tone, style, and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of copy across campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine and improve strategies.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive copy strategy that enhances brand messaging and aligns with marketing goals.
  • Educational and Skills Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 4-7 years' experience in a related field
    • A deep understanding of persuasive writing techniques, marketing principles, and customer psychology
    • Exceptional writing and research skills
    • Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines
    • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Edits and proofreads all copy before it goes live
    • Develops and maintains the brand voice and tone
    • Uses data-driven marketing to guide all copy decisions
    • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and meets tight deadlines

    Travel Requirements:
    • Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year).
    • Travel will be entirely domestic.
    Type/Nature of Contacts:
    • External: There is almost no contact outside of Virtuoso staff. Position is primarily internal facing.
    • Internal: Key job contacts are primarily with managers outside of the job's immediate work unit/department.
