Job Description :

QQE is one of the largest companies in the United States that specializes in the design and manufacture of solid quartz products for the Semiconductor, Solar, Fiber Optic, and Lighting Industries. As a Core Drill Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products that meet their specifications. You will be responsible for grinding parts flat and parallel to customer-specified thickness and finish, while contributing to team efforts for operating in a safe environment for the timely delivery of quality parts by maximizing first run production of parts to Router requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Determines sequence of operations by studying the router, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
  • Prepares machine for production by positioning parts on table with block-ins or angle blocks.
  • Regulates machining by setting and adjusting controls.
  • Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting defects, inspecting parts, and adjusting controls.
  • Resolve's production problems by adjusting controls and process materials to meet specifications. Notifies supervisor for additional resources when necessary.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on scheduled times, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and alerting supervisor of necessity of for repairs.
  • Meets daily production scheduled requirements.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

  • Contributes to continuous improvement process.
  • Other duties as requested.
