This position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and design large-scale, robust systems that form the backbone of our exchange platform.Key responsibilities include:Architect and design scalable infrastructure solutions for ElectronX's exchange platform, considering risk factors and long-term viabilityDevelop and maintain core systems across multiple platforms, including the main exchange, clearinghouse, API infrastructure, and connectivity solutionsImplement high-performance, low-latency solutions to provide the most competitive market to our participantsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure componentsConduct code reviews and mentor junior team membersParticipate in capacity planning and performance optimization initiativesStay current with emerging technologies and industry best practicesWhat we need from you: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on infrastructure and systems designStrong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, Go, or RustIn-depth knowledge of distributed systems, networking protocols, and database technologiesExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with financial markets and trading systems is preferredExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesBonus points if: You've started a company in the pastYou've worked at a startupYou're fired up about exchanges, markets, electricity, or renewablesWhat does ElectronX offer?
