Of the Purpose and Objective. The packer position is responsible for screening, packing, and boxing quality products from an assembly line. Section 2 Description of Primary Duties and Responsibilities. Pack corn chips into the box off a chute repeatedly. Assemble boxes lined with a bag and pack chips. Able to screen the product for defects before packing. Inspect boxes to ensure proper weight. On occasion, lift boxes of products weighing up to 35 pounds. Keep work areas clean, adhering to GMP guidelines. Team members must rotate between the different positions on the line. safely perform work. Abide by all company policies/procedures, written or verbal. Work as a team member toward task accomplishments. Perform any other tasks assigned.
