We partner with top local restaurants to ensure that our clients receive high-quality meals, with a focus on reliability and efficiency. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated and experienced Account Executive to drive our client acquisition and growth.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team and focus on acquiring new corporate clients. This is an on-site role, and most of the time is spent in the field contacting potential clients. You'll be responsible for building relationships, securing contracts, and helping businesses enhance their meal service offerings through CaterValley. This role will report directly to the COO and CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Actively prospect, identify, and onboard new corporate clients in San Jose and nearby cities.
- Sales Development: Utilize CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, track leads, and follow up on opportunities.
- Cold Calling & Networking: Develop leads through cold calling, networking events, and in-person meetings.
- In-Person Visits/Demos: Conduct client visits, give product demos, and present CaterValley's services.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close deals with corporate clients to secure long-term partnerships.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to foster repeat business.
- Reporting: Provide the CEO with regular updates and performance reports regarding sales activities, goals, and progress.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the catering or food services industry with a focus on serving corporate customers.
- Strong understanding of corporate catering or food service industry dynamics.
- Proven experience in cold calling, networking, and in-person sales strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM tools to manage client pipelines and track sales activity.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client demos and meetings.
- Ability to thrive in a field-based role with minimal office time.
