Coda Search is partnering with an award-winning asset management group with offices located in New York, NY. This firm has a fantastic reputation in the industry and has been recognized as one of the market leaders within its space serving both institutional and retail clients. The firm is seeking to hire a Corporate Accountant who will be responsible for assisting with the month-end close, reconciling accounts, performing monthly variance analysis, and managing/allocating costs/fees for various investment vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the month-end close overseeing several items on the balance sheet and income statement
• Manage the GL and reconcile any discrepancies
• Manage employee expense reports
• Oversee several investment vehicles reconciling accounts and managing investment costs
• Assist with Accounts payable and process any outstanding invoices
• Assist with the annual audit and prepare any supporting documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups/pivot tables)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical mindset and excellent time management skills
