Practice Group Overview:

The Corporate Group's transactional experience encompasses all types of domestic and international corporate matters, from private placements and public offerings of securities to transnational mergers and acquisitions to complex joint ventures and they span a wide variety of industries including media/entertainment, technology, financial services, pharmaceutical, etc. They represent institutional and entrepreneurial clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, with a special focus on companies in the middle market.

Position Overview:

The Corporate Group is currently seeking an associate from law school years 2020 – 2022 with experience in general corporate work, including M&A, private equity, public & private offerings and/or SEC reporting. The candidate that is hired will have the opportunity to work with, and train under, a number of corporate partners, counsel, and senior associates on a wide range of corporate matters.

Requirements:

• Strong academic record (high GPA/top law school)
• Relevant experience at an Am Law 200 firm
• Exceptional work ethic
• JD awarded 2020 - 2022
• NY Bar admission

NY Bar admission Compensation & Benefits: $205,000 to $235,000 -- The 2024 salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
