SUMMARY
Lead corporate efforts to ensure safe, reliable operations of manufacturing assets across North America, driving continuous improvement toward operational excellence. Collaborate with site maintenance and reliability teams to implement best practices for fixed equipment, including pressure vessels, tanks, boilers, and reactors. Develop and enforce corporate reliability policies and provide expert guidance for root cause analyses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute reliability improvement plans across multiple sites.
• Oversee pressure vessel inspections and ensure compliance across sites.
• Provide regular, detailed progress reports to management on projects and improvements.
• Support the implementation of PSM mechanical integrity standards at manufacturing sites.
• Drive industry-recognized reliability practices and promote cross-site knowledge-sharing.
• Champion a strong safety culture through personal commitment to EHS standards.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Process Engineering team to optimize material selection and standardize spares during the design phase.
• Partner with the Main Office to develop APM and predictive analytics models, transitioning from reactive to prescriptive maintenance.
• Assist in PSM audits and update reliability procedures to address HSE and reliability metrics.
• Visit North American manufacturing plants to understand site processes and equipment, while cultivating strong relationships with site teams.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Familiarity with API 510, 570, and 653 certifications is required.
• Extensive experience in reliability/maintenance engineering and management.
• Familiarity with SAP Plant Maintenance is preferred.
• In-depth experience with stationary equipment, including knowledge of NDE, shop processes, ASME/API codes, corrosion, and metallurgy.
• Strong understanding of OSHA's PSM standards, particularly regarding mechanical integrity.
• Self-motivated with a strong capacity for leadership and decision-making.
• Willing to travel up to 35% in the first year and 20-25% thereafter.
