Job DetailsPrimary Responsibilities
  • Client Management and Business Development
  • Maintain and expand a book of business of at least $500k.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their legal and business needs are consistently met.
  • Drive business development activities including networking, seminars, conferences, and other events.
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel on a wide range of corporate matters, including M&A, governance, securities, regulatory compliance, and others.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigations when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other partners to shape and execute the firm's strategic objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior attorneys, offering them insights and support in their professional development.
  • Contribute to the firm's knowledge base through research, publications, and presentations.
  • Ensure adherence to the highest standards of legal practice and ethics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Participate in firm-wide committees and initiatives, ensuring the continuous improvement of processes and practices.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Valid license to practice law in MA
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate law, with a proven track record as a generalist handling diverse corporate legal matters.
  • Established book of business of at least $500k.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills with a commitment to collaborative work.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.
