Position: Corporate Sales Representative Location: Herndon, VA or Remote Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Corporate Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role involves building relationships with potential clients, understanding their software needs, and presenting tailored solutions that deliver value. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and nurturing ongoing relationships, primarily through phone, email, and virtual meetings. Your responsibilities:Sales & Business Development: Proactively identify and qualify sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other lead-generation methods. Manage inbound inquiries, turning them into qualified leads. Develop a strong understanding of the company's software products and solutions. Conduct effective product demonstrations and presentations via virtual platforms. Prepare and present tailored proposals that address customer needs and business challenges. Guide potential clients through the sales funnel, from initial contact to closing deals. Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive customer loyalty. Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the software purchasing process. Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for clients. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to follow up on campaigns and identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities. Coordinate with the technical team to address complex client queries. Share market feedback and insights to improve product offerings and sales strategies. Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed individual sales targets and quotas. Track all sales activities in the CRM system, ensuring accurate records of opportunities, client communications, and outcomes. Prepare regular sales reports for management. Basic Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in software or technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with SaaS, CRM tools, and other software products is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
