Correctional Nurse-Jail - Highland Hills Medical Center : Job Details

Highland Hills Medical Center seeks an LPN or RN healthcare professional to provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psycho-social, physical, and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and correctional policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Regulatory Requirements for LPN:

• Current Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year's work experience.

• Current Mississippi Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year's work experience.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.

• Basic computer knowledge.
