Correctional Programs Director 1 - State of North Carolina : Job Details

The Program Director I reports to the Correctional Associate Warden of Programs and is responsible for directing and monitoring programs for the rehabilitation of offenders housed in the prison system. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Directing programs for the rehabilitation of offenders in the prison system. Administering programs for offenders where the primary programs areas are offender classification; correctional programs (including work release, incentive wage, educational/vocational, volunteer programs, religion, cognitive-based interventions, and recreation); and correctional supportive counseling. Coordinating programs with custody and other facility staff. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits. This is a RE-POST of position 60069953.
