Nature of Work Under the administrative direction of the Associate Superintendent of Operations. This position acts as a liaison between the operation staff and the Associate Superintendent of Operations. This position serves as a lead supervisor for the following departments: central receiving, state shop, post office, laundry, and barber shop. Performs work ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensures that policies and procedures are being followed in the Operations area and that the Operations department is staying in compliance. This employee may exercise independent judgement and latitude in the work performed. Works and assists in the Security department as needed. Fayette, Clay, Nicholas and Kanawha Counties. In accordance with SPB 3088 effective 10/7/23, $5000 will be added to the minimum starting rate of pay for all classifications within a Critical Vacancy Pay Supplemental Facility.
