Corrosion Technician - MasTec : Job Details

Perform basic field testing of corrosion control systems on underground and submerged metallic structures. Recommend troubleshooting tests and identify when such testing is required. Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Work independently, make field decisions without direct supervision and be responsible for obtaining field data to determine condition of structures under evaluation. Compile and submit field data for senior staff review. Be familiar with standard survey and construction practices for corrosion control projects. Estimate duration for both engineering and construction projects. Organize and perform multiple small projects simultaneously. Develop test procedures for complex troubleshooting. Evaluate field data and prepare draft reports for the area supervisor. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 0-3 years (minimum) experience in corrosion control industry particularly related to cathodic protection work.
