Summary: Support the day to day financial operations of Unistel and provide support to Senior Director, Unistel Operations. Essential Job Functions:
- Assists in planning the accounting requirements of Unistel.
- Develop and implement strategies that support effective and cost efficient procurement.
- Exercise recognized purchasing practices to support Unistel procurement requirements.
- Procure raw materials, production supplies, equipment, office supplies, and services for Unistel. Source market availability to provide a match to internal specifications. Optimize pricing and service through use of effective bidding or negotiation strategies.
- Assists in developing and documenting procedures to improve the operational efficiency of Unistel.
- Representative including the review of all reports emanating from these areas.
- Ensures timely preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Responsible for raw material and inventory reconciliation for Unistel.
- Responsible for Unistel quarterly reports upon request.
- Responsible for Unistel price list.
- Responsible for cost calculations for outside entities
- Responsible for preparation and analysis of Unistel Monthly Profit and Loss report by product line.
- Responsible for Unistel LLC Subcontract Fee calculation.
- Evaluate all new products being purchased to ensure correct specifications, price, and availability and meet with department managers to advise them of all pertinent information before commitments are signed.
- Interface and provide customer service to major accounts.
- Perform order entry and process quotes.
- All duties are to be performed on a timely and accurate basis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in excel and using computerized general ledgers.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and motivate others.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years related accounting experience.
All experience and education requirements, except when required by federal, state, or local laws or requirements, may be waived at the discretion of management with the approval of the Executive Vice President, in collaboration with Human Resources. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit continuously
- Ability to reach above shoulder level
- Ability to turn/twist upper body
- Ability to use hand for repetitive action and fine manipulating for the purpose of keyboarding
Corporate Qualifications/Expectations:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet applicable Vehicle Operator Requirements. (NYSDL required)
