Job Opportunity: Product Costing Manager
Are you a finance professional passionate about product costing and continuous improvement? We're hiring a Product Costing Manager to support key processes and initiatives within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in standard cost creation for all domestic and Brita materials.
- Lead and train teams during the annual standards-setting process.
- Collaborate with the Product Supply Organization to ensure accurate standards and reduce supply chain errors.
- Maintain and improve internal controls for product costing.
- Coach and support analysts while reviewing and approving their work.
- Drive closure on continuous improvement projects and support initiatives like Project Elevate – Vista.
- Serve as the point of contact for E&Y Costing Controls when needed.
- Manage monthly production order WIP/error clearing and provide financial reviews for profit centers.
- Support the development of supply chain finance forecast calendars.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Experience: 4–5 years in finance, accounting, or a related field, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods or Manufacturing.
- Strong experience in SAP; S4HANA - plus
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and exceptional SAP skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent communication abilities.
- Proven ability to streamline processes and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
- Strong planning, organizing, and team collaboration skills.
