In this role, you will be responsible for developing proposal packages for custom Inertial Guidance Test Systems (IGTS), Hardware in the Loop (HWIL), and related services for Acutronic Simulation & Test USA.
Cost Estimator IIYour Roles/Responsibilities:
- Generates cost back-up sheets utilizing labor and material inputs from engineering, manufacturing, customer service, project management, and supply chain team members.
- Solicits input from above-mentioned departments to ensure complete and accurate proposal packages
- Documents proposal requirements including technical and programmatic specifications
- Verifies that all documentation is up to date (content and revision) and in compliance with the Acutronic Quality System so that all departments are reviewing the latest proposal package
- Analyzes customer requirements to ensure compliance
- Applies knowledge of government and industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance
- Presents resulting proposal package to department team leaders, including sales leadership for approval prior to submission to the customer by the responsible sales engineer/business development lead
Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:
- Associate's degree in Engineering or a related field required, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
- A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or similar business
- Experience in the field of servo systems and/or motion control is a plus
