Job Summary: This position performs under the direction of the Clinical Director of Pine Grove Women's Center. Conducts clinical assessments, makes appropriate referrals, and provides direct patient care. Completes associated administrative/clerical tasks. Maintains orderly work area. Maintains confidentiality. Others duties as assigned. Performance Expectations:
- Demonstrates the ability to work in total direct patient care in a team approach.
- Demonstrates the ability to work therapeutically in a community of chemical dependent patients.
- Demonstrates the ability to observe/monitor patients and maintain patient safety, assist patients with activities of daily living, both physical and emotional, and meet team objectives.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed.
Qualifications:Education/Skills Bachelor degree in psychology or social work required (or other health related fields). Work Experience: Work experience preferred but not required. Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE
- Valid Driver's License and good Standing Driving Record
