Our mission is to enrich lives by providing choice and access to resources that encourage hope, independence, and recovery.If this sounds rewarding to you, apply today to join our dedicated team!DESCRIPTION OF WORKThe role of the County Caseworker 2 includes the following duties:+ Identifying an individual's support needs and preferences through development of an Individualized Service Plan (ISP).+ Locate options for services that meet the needs of individuals including, but not limited to, traditional providers, community and natural supports.+ Facilitate person-centered planning process.+ Ensuring services are received as outlined in the ISP.+ Ensuring the health and safety of those supported.+ To promote individuality, choice and control in customer's lives.+ To provide quality supports and quality information through monitoring of the health and safety of people receiving supports and services.+ To link customers to services, resources, and benefits.Work Schedule and Additional Information:+ Full-time employment.+ Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.+ You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:+ Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1;or+ Successful completion of the County Social Casework Intern program;or+ A bachelor's degree with a social welfare major;or+ A bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of professional social casework experience in a public or private social service agency;or+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.+ Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within two months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.Other Requirements:+ PA residency requirement ( Info/Pages/default.aspx) is currentlywaivedfor this title.+ This particular position also requires applicants possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.+ Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Somerset, Washington, or Westmoreland counties.
