CRATE BUILDER - Express Employment : Job Details

Located in Tualatin, OR Salary: $22-$23per hourCraft sturdy crates using table and hand saws, nail guns, and measuring tools for shipping out essential equipment.This is an evaluation-to-hire position, and benefits are offered during the evaluation period! #1939LIDDuties:

• Securely fasten and position all equipment within the crates with precision.
• Skillfully label each crate with precise markings for easy identification.
• Meticulously completed all essential paperwork, including thorough inspection and creating forms.
• Uphold stringent safety protocols and maintain top-notch housekeeping standards.
• Engage enthusiastically in all safety program initiatives and activities.
• Adhere meticulously to company policies, ensuring a seamless workflow.
• Extend support to the Shipping department by tackling additional tasks as needed.
• Expand your expertise by undergoing cross-training in both shipping and receiving operations.

Skills and Qualities:

• Minimum of 3-6 months of relatable experience
• Preferred experience in carpentry or construction
• Experience or knowledge in shipping and receiving
• Experience with forklift operation, the company will certify.
• Must be able to proficiently use a tape measure, read, and strong understanding.
• Ability to operate the following equipment safely and effectively, Panel Saw, Skill Saw, Chop Saw, Nail and Staple Guns
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to understand shipping documents, shop drawings and communicate with all drivers.
• Ability to stand for a full shift of 10 hours
• Can twist, bend, kneel, and reach.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs frequently with arms extended at shoulder level or above

Pay: $20-$24/hr.
