Job Title: Advertising Account Manager
Location: New Hyde Park, NY (1-day onsite)
Role Type: Contract
Duration: Through end of the year
Pay: $38-$40/hr (40 hrs/week on W2)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee small-scale, multi-channel advertising campaigns (e.g., digital display, social media, out-of-home, print ads).
- Coordinate with external media agencies to ensure campaigns meet specifications and objectives.
- Act as a liaison between internal creative teams and media agencies, managing the development of creative assets.
- Collaborate with internal clients, including marketing strategy and regional marketing teams, to establish campaign goals, budgets, and messaging.
- Distill client input into actionable creative briefs and shepherd campaigns through the approval process.
- Lead meetings, present ideas, and ensure alignment between creative and strategic objectives.
- Develop timelines, track project scope and budgets, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
- Manage one-off campaigns (e.g., single print ads, lower-funnel social media efforts) independently after initial onboarding.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in project management or advertising account management.
- Advertising agency experience is highly desirable.
- Strong multitasking ability and eagerness to take initiative.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to interact with senior-level stakeholders (e.g., SVP Marketing, CMO).
- Ability to write creative briefs and translate strategy into actionable steps.
