Advertising Manager/Creative Director - PrintWe're looking for someone able to multi-task and manage multiple timelines. As a team leader and contributor, this person performs tasks effectively, develops collaborative relationships with team members, displays clear communication and acts proactively and professionally. This person needs to be able to communicate changes from executive reviews of ads and make suggestions in terms of design based on the executive direction.Job Responsibilities:
  • Ability to manage and prioritize projects, manage team members when Senior managers are out of the office. Will work with buyers and managers on various projects, sometimes leading video meetings.
  • Responsibilities would include creating and assembling circulars and Newspaper ROPS, review and critique photos from our in-house photo studio, designing special projects, such as T shirt designs, logos , newsletters, billboards, banners, etc.
  • Some work would include using previous formats and filling in merchandise, copy and pricing. Additional work would be designing new formats and creating new graphics or adapting graphics from digital or TV concepts for print.
Job Qualifications:
  • 7 + years of related work experience in retail marketing, with an understanding of retail timelines and deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, accurate and organized. Also needs to be able to proof ads periodically. Ability to take initiative when needed.
  • Experience in Adobe suite. Ideally experience in print
  • Confident outgoing personality and can attend meetings with senior executives when needed.
  • Hours are 9-5:30 with some flexibility. Open to working late if needed to meet deadlines or to attend executive meetings. Remote work once a week when they are past their probation period (90 days).
  • Comfortable with a faced paced environment.
