Design Public Group is in search of a Creative Studio Specialist to join our team supporting the New York, NY market.

Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation to Design Public Group client base (e.g., architects, interior designers, contractors, wholesale buyers and suppliers) regarding the product portfolio, specification, and procurement of products in a showroom environment or in the field, as needed. The Creative Studio Specialist is instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service and building relationships with the client base to drive sales, increase brand visibility, and meet client-specific project needs.

This role will be primarily located in our New York, NY studio showroom.

What you will do:

* Act as primary point of contact and/or facilitate an informative and welcoming showroom experience.

* Drive showroom sales by promoting products and services to customers. Offer knowledgeable and personalized product demonstrations enhancing the customer's experience.

* Build and nurture long-term relationships with influencers in the assigned market to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

* Engage in local or national industry events to expand and develop networking opportunities. Actively promote DPG through various media outlets and on-line presence.

* Collaborate with sales team and leadership to activate the showroom space. Engage in external networking events to develop new relationships.

* Create and manage innovative and exciting opportunities to engage and bring customer traffic into the showroom space.

* Assist in the preparation of quotes, bids, and proposals for clients as requested ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

* Navigate e-commerce site to complete, process, and track orders. Manage appropriate communication with the sales team and/or customer to proactively resolve problems, as needed.

* Ensure showroom is consistently well-organized, visually appealing, and product displays are appropriately branded and reflective of current trends.

* Monitor showroom traffic and provide feedback on customer experience and provide recommendations to reflect customer preferences.

* Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

What you need:

* Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.

* At least two years' experience in a consultative sales role or customer service, preferably in interior design, home furnishings, or building material industry preferred.
