Credit Analyst - Robert Half : Job Details

Position: Fulltime + Benefits

.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collection of open receivables and assist in executing effective strategies and initiatives to achieve continuous receivable delinquency improvement that contributes to a lower DSO
• Closely work with customer service on order releases and dispute resolution
• Assist sales in setting up new customers and AR reporting as needed
• Ensures timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, questions, documentation issues, billing errors, payment application errors, and disputes
• Assess creditworthiness of prospective and existing customers using trade reports and perform some level of financial analysis, when applicable
• Prepare quarterly sales report for insurance purposes and evaluating credit limit requirements in a timely manner.
• Actively work with internal and external auditors in providing support items
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash forecasts
• Assist the credit and finance manager with ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields, desired
• Two to five years of strong quantitative experience
• SAP experience is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer use
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to form and maintain client and business relationships
• Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
