Overview:
CREDIT CARD OPERATIONS SPECIALIST WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Processes Finance related responsibilities: Lockbox, Payments, Fee/Payment reversals and research, credit balance research and refunds. Processes Admin related responsibilities: Boarding Consumer/Commercial applications, credit card maintenance, Colleague Commercial Card portfolio. Access credit card software and other systems to perform following the functions, data entry, document verification and client service. Fast paced and deadline driven environment. Requires attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, with the sense of urgency in daily processing while maintaining excellent client service. Communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the bank, vendors and partners. Learns and keeps current on VISA rules and regulations. Responsible for maintaining operational integrity of credit cards through adherence to Bank and department policies and procedures. What you will do
- Handles payment processing from various channels of submission, including telephone payments
- Board consumer/commercial card applications.
- Admin/Client Service/Finance credit card maintenance.
- General internal and external client service such as answering phones,responding to emails and provide information.
- Data and/or document verification.
- Preparation of monthly tracking reports.
- Stays up to date with all Systems, Process and Product changes
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Complies fully with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements.
- Completes all required training.
Must-Have*
- Minimum 1 years of banking/financial services experience
- Minimum 1 years of credit card experience
Skills and Knowledge
- Position requires incumbent to be detail and process oriented, work comfortably with numbers, follow specific written and/or verbal wire instructions, and complete repetitive steps while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and the integrity of the data.
- Must be able to prioritize work efficiently and act with a sense of urgency to meet daily deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external clients via phone to answer inquiries and explain high risk conditions requiring their processing instructions and/or approval decision.
Compensation Starting base salary: $18.39 - $27.62 per hour.
