A leading developer and manufacturer in consumer electronics is hiring a Credit Manager. The manager is responsible for the oversight of credit risk monitoring, new customer onboarding and receivables management. Managing a department of 9 people, the corporate credit manager will provide guidance in applying our credit policy and leverage utilization of trade credit insurance. Responsibilities as the Credit Manager:
- Maintain organizational structure sufficient to meet departmental goals and objectives
- Develop culture of service in the department to internal and external customers, motivating the credit and collections staff through ongoing training
- Manage relations with service providers - trade credit insurance, collection agencies, credit reporting agencies
- Manage credit team collection efforts in research and resolution of collection issues
Requirements:
- Prior management exp.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Similar industry (electronics, distribution) a +
- Software implementation a +
