OverviewThis role is part of the Credit Administration and Infrastructure Organization, on the Credit Remediation and Transformation team. The Credit Remediation Process Improvement and Delivery VP will be responsible for supporting the Credit Risk in the development of on-going process and policy assessments, evaluations, compliance, and improvement to support business and Bank remediation related initiatives and strategies related to regulatory findings.The individual in this role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of solutions across the enterprise through various credit remediation workstreams to close gaps identified by regulatory agencies. Key activities will include assisting with evaluating operational processes and data in collaboration with the Credit Remediation Process Improvement and Delivery Lead and the Head of Credit Risk Remediation and Transformation. Activities will also support the cross-functional remediation project goals by applying root cause analysis, providing solution design, and implementation support. A successful candidate for this role may have commercial credit lending or underwriting experience, or credit operations experience with a desire to provide widespread impact across the bank. This role will require building skills across credit and risk management, project management and process improvement.The role will be pivotal in building credit risk processes and solutions for the future of the bank and will be contributing to high visibility projects, with exposure to the Chief Credit Officer of the Commercial Bank, Chief Risk Officer, regulatory agencies, and Board of Directors.The Credit Remediation and Transformation team is focused on evolving the way in which credit risk operates to ensure we are meeting regulatory expectations and addressing any areas of issues timely. We play an integral role in building and delivering enterprise-wide solutions for the future through partnership and collaboration across all lines of business at FCB.ResponsibilitiesThis is a hybrid role that may be hired in several markets across the United StatesProcess Improvement: Analyzes, identifies, and makes recommendations on areas of improvement within business processes and operational data as it relates to credit. Supports the development of policies and procedures to ensure consistent implementation and governance. Ensures procedures are focused on managing risk in line regulatory expectations for a Large Financial Institution while balancing the needs of internal and external customers.Workflow Management: Help build and enhance a workflow management process and associated tool(s) to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery across credit remediation workstreams and the broader team. Assist in identifying and addressing resource needs within workstreams. Manage workflow tool for assigned workstreams and provide tool support for associates.Training:Provides support through developing and potentially leading process-related training programs including creating workflow, job aids, training materials and presentations related to credit remediation work and the rollout of related changes across the lines of defense. May lead special projects, serving as a resource to wider business unit (Credit Administration and Infrastructure) or Credit Risk. Utilizes expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters.Project Management:Support project manager and Delivery Lead on large projects. May lead credit remediation and regulatory focused consultative projects with an impact across the enterprise. Aligns project strategies and results with wider organizational needs. Determines methods to gauge and report on project success.Collaboration:Consults and partners with business leaders, program manager, and Delivery Lead to plan projects and programs. Provides complex analysis and decision support to business on key priorities. Interacts and collaborates with multiple disciplines to gather information, perform analysis, and makes recommendations to management to drive continuous improvement. Communicates clearly with management, associates, and wider business units to implement change across the Bank.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Prior banking experience, Process improvement, consulting or project management OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Prior banking experience, Credit Risk Management and/or Credit Analysis, knowledge of risk issues related to lending activities.Preferred Area of Experience: Process improvement, consulting or product development. Preferred Area of Study: Business, Economics, Risk Management.Preferred familiarity with large bank regulations and cross-functional program delivery.If hired in CA or NYC the base pay for this position is generally between $96,560.00- $130,640.00 Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
