We are seeking a diligent individual who is adept at performing reviews of financial institution data and documents to join our collaborative team.These important positions work to safeguard member deposits and ensure compliance of credit unions with state and federal regulations and administrative codes by conducting on-site reviews of records and evaluating financial affairs of credit unions in the State of Wisconsin.December 2024 graduates are strongly encouraged to apply!This classification series provides multiple career growth and advancement opportunities as knowledge and experience is gained.The candidate hired into this position will be assigned to work within a specific territory and will have their home designated as their headquarters city, however, the incumbent must be willing and able to travel frequently throughout the state of Wisconsin with regular overnight stays to conduct business needs. All employees are expected to be headquartered and work within the State of Wisconsin.   • Work on teams to conduct examinations of credit unions throughout the state to determine their financial safety and soundness. This is performed on location, throughout the state at each credit union and includes the evaluation of a credit union's financial condition, profitability, quality of assets, management, operations and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Perform a thorough review of credit union financial documents related to the institution's operations and prepare examination reports with recommendations for improvement. Therefore, having financial related experience, especially analyzing financial reports, is critical in this role!
  • Assist the examiner-in-charge and work under the guidance of experienced examiners until necessary training is completed and may act as the lead-examiner once proficiency is gained. What can we offer you?

Salary Information This position is in schedule-range 07-04 with an hourly salary of $27.59 - $30.31 , plus excellent benefits . A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.This classification series is also eligible to receive up to a total of four sequential $1.50 per hour add-ons to the base rate once criteria of each level is met.
