Position Overview:

As a Crew Member at Frisch's Big Boy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and providing an exceptional guest experience. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including customer service, food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

- Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.

- Assist guests in making menu selections and provide recommendations.

- Take accurate food orders and ensure timely delivery.

- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.

- Ensure a positive and memorable dining experience for every guest.

Food Preparation:

- Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.

- Always follow proper food handling and safety procedures.

- Ensure all food products are fresh, properly stored, and meet quality standards.

- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of food supplies and ingredients.

Cashiering:

-Greet every guest with a smile, offers a sincere welcome acknowledging new and returning guests. Guide the guest through the menu while making suggestions.

- Operate the cash register and accurately handles cash, credit card, and electronic payment transactions.

- Process orders and ensure proper charging and itemization.

- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.

- Provide guests with receipts and handle any necessary refunds or exchanges.

-Make Milkshakes and Hot Fudge Cakes.

Cleaning and Sanitation:

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant, including Cashier area, dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen.

- Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, equipment, utensils, and tools.

- Follow proper cleaning procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Dispose of waste and recyclables in designated areas.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

- Communicate effectively and proactively with team members and management.

- Assist team members in various tasks as needed.

- Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork and mutual respect.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.

- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
