Purpose of Position The Crew Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, communicating, and managing crewmember company-specific and aircraft-specific training requirements. They ensure EJM crewmembers remain qualified under 14 CFR, EJM policies, and account agreement requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities - Schedule and track crewmember's training and checking events.
- Maintain crewmember profiles in EJM's operational scheduling software.
- Receive, audit, and process crewmember training records in EJM's recordkeeping system(s).
- Provide training records to crewmembers, EJM stakeholders, and/or FAA representatives upon request.
- Make proactive and effective recommendations to EJM stakeholders, customers, and crewmembers to ensure appropriate qualifications are maintained.
- Coordinate applicable changes to crewmember's training and/or operations schedules based on EJM and training provider requirements.
- Forecast future training needs and proactively schedule training events with the respective training provider(s).
- Implement and adhere to the Executive Jet Management 20/20 Flight Plan in daily operations and tasks.
- Work with departments to understand training elements needed at the time of an account or crewmember onboarding. Plan for future training elements to ensure the crewmembers remain qualified for the assigned duty position.
- Review and approve, reconciling when necessary, crewmember training invoices with the appropriate training vendor.
- Responsible for assuring that the company's goals for safety, compliance, security, and quality are met through continual compliance with EJM's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety improvement recommendations, and/or observations of company or regulatory non-compliance.
Education Associate's in Aviation or Business
Years of Experience 2-4 years of experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs) - Previous experience in an operations environment.
- Previous experience in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting and/or competing priorities.
- Ability to perform and shift priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner in stressful situations.
- Ability to make autonomous decisions considering multiple variables.
- Must maintain a working knowledge of 14 CFR 61 and 135 regulations, EJM manuals, policies, and procedures.
- Act as subject matter expert in all aspects of training/qualification requirements.
