Position Summary: As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will provide direct and indirect clinical services to patients requiring behavioral health interventions in our Emergency Departments. This role requires delivering age-appropriate assessments and treatments for a diverse population with varied needs. Key responsibilities include:
Crisis triage and assessment Individual and family interventions Case management and community collaboration Patient and family education Insurance verification and treatment planning Placement to appropriate levels of care Education/Certification: A Master's Degree and licensure in a Behavioral Health field (LCSW, Licensed APRN, or PhD) is required. Certification in CPI de-escalation techniques must be obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter. CPI training will be provided by ECHN.
Competencies: This role demands strong clinical skills and effective teamwork. Essential competencies include:

- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment and community resources
