The Crisis Program Manager will be the lead for the two bed crisis house providing short term support for consumers with Intellectual Disabilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SUMMARY

The DS Crisis Program Manager will support and assist the individuals receiving IDDS services and their team to follow safety protocols and procedures for individuals who are accessing the NKHS crisis bed. These services will be provided in the NKHS crisis bed, community and or other environments. All services will be provided in a respectful manner and follow the Home and Community Based Rules, DD Act, and NKHS DS philosophy.

Supervisory Responsibilities

* Supervises Direct Support Professionals

* 50% management duties and 50% Shift coverage

RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

* Hire and supervise Direct Support professionals

* Train DSP's to follow procedures and protocols set up for the crisis house

* Train DSP's to follow individual Behavioral Support plans

* Create and implement a staff schedule to cover all shifts

* Coordinate with agency team members for intake and discharge to the crisis house.

* Work with the Facilities manager to maintain the operation of the house ie: snow removal, repairs, trash removal, heating, water, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree and/or Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) preferred.

Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/or Autism.

Supervisory experience is a plus.
