Master's degree in family/child counseling, development or psychology, social services or professional counseling or related social science field.· Four (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, children, adolescents and/or adults, depending on setting preferred.· T BBS licensed MFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD or PhD· 2 years-post licensure experience with ability to provide Clinical Supervision to registered interns/associates and/or practicum students in Behavioral Services or Psychology related fields, preferred· Valid CA Driver's License· Meets agency driver eligibility criteria· BLS CPR/First Aid· Two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care setting, preferred.· Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of ageHow you will make a difference:This position has primary responsibility for directing and oversight of the staff who provide mental health and support services to clients and their families. The Clinical Supervisor may have their own caseload in addition to oversight responsibilities. S/he acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. This position participates in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and revision of the clinical treatment program. The Clinical Supervisor represents the agency to county agencies and the community. S/he meets with clients, provides direct care and treatment, and may be involved in the client grievance process. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for facility management. This position has the responsibility of and provides direct clinical supervision of BBS licensed staff, insuring services are in accordance to BBS standards and signs-off on BBS hours.Division/Program Overview:The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting with a stay of up to 23 hoursRapid mental health assessment and crisis interventionAll age groups - children, adolescents, adults, and older adults - who need immediate access to crisis mental health services.The center provides important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilizationIndividuals admitted into the crisis stabilization unit will be provided with support and services to ensure their safe transition to the next level of care or back to the community.Learn more about SBHG at: For Additional Information:
