A hospital in New York is looking to add a licensed Registered Nurse to join their critical care units as a clinical care coordinator. This is a great entry-level leadership role for someone looking to grow into management.About the Opportunity:

• Hours: Nights - 8P - 6A

Responsibilities:The Nurse Coordinator (RN) will

• Guide, direct, teach, evaluate and counsel unit staff in providing professional care and complying with policies
• Acts as a clinical resource implementing the nursing practice model, nursing process and direct patient care as needed
• Provide input to Nurse Managers in reference to hiring, counseling and terminating employees
• Participates in providing education program and activities for critical care staff to enhance and deliver care
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 5 years recent clinical experience with a strong medical/surgical or critical care background
• BLS and ACLS

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• ANCC certification in critical care preferred
