A hospital in New York is looking to add a licensed Registered Nurse to join their critical care units as a clinical care coordinator. This is a great entry-level leadership role for someone looking to grow into management.About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:The Nurse Coordinator (RN) will
- Guide, direct, teach, evaluate and counsel unit staff in providing professional care and complying with policies
- Acts as a clinical resource implementing the nursing practice model, nursing process and direct patient care as needed
- Provide input to Nurse Managers in reference to hiring, counseling and terminating employees
- Participates in providing education program and activities for critical care staff to enhance and deliver care
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 5 years recent clinical experience with a strong medical/surgical or critical care background
- BLS and ACLS
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- ANCC certification in critical care preferred
