Highland,IL - USAPosition RequirementsHSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Highland, an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System, provides proven-effective care to more than 35,000 residents in portions of Madison county and surrounding communities. HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital is a small critical access hospital performing routine low-risk surgery. Case AssignmentsOrtho, general surgery, GI, Cataracts, GU, Occasional GYN. Peds (only ENT cases 1 day every other month with an MDA) No OB.Shifts

• M-F 7 am-3:30 pm.
• Call 1 and 3 with 1 hour response time.
• CRNA only site
• CRNAs will be required to be credentialed at a sister hospital (Holy Family Greenville) to occasionally do cataracts and GI. This hospital is about 20 minutes from Highland.

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
